2 months people!!!

Hard to believe 2 months from now I will be Mrs. Crawford and we will be partying it up!! What is even harder to believe are all the things that are about to be checked off on the "to do" list. 

This week our invitations are going out and we are having engagement pictures with the lovely Sarah Orgunov with Moments by Sarah. She is such an amazing person and photographer!

We still have some major things to do like- oh- catering. Peeps will prob want to eat, right?! We also need to finalize the men's suits and there was something else that I gave a due date for this week- oh yeah- part of our premarital meetings with Fr. Tim. We have some things to wrap up for that. Can't wait!!!

Registry time!!

We finally went to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to Register. It was pretty fun. Terry got a little sidetracked when we went by the knife section ... So Pretty... 

Not sure if we will register anywhere else...they had everything we need!!!  

Meet the groomsmen

Ya know I wasn't sure if we would have equal numbers of bridesmaids and groomsmen but we do! Terry's son Ashton is his best man and then Lucie's boys are two of the groomsmen. The other 4 are friends of Terry:  Mike, Benji, Curtis, and Chris.

So I have 7. Sounds like a lot and yep it is a lot... But I had to!! They consist of sisters, a sister cousin, and best friends. I have known them ranging from 30yrs to 14yrs!!

I decided that I would find some cute ideas on Pinterest to ask them to represent me at the wedding. It was a lot of fun and even Terry helped! I put a sample of our colors into boxes 

With a balloon filled with confetti and a note to "Pop" the question!

The first boxes were given to Allison, Nicole, & Virginia when we went to pick up my wedding dress. It was so fun to see their reactions in person. The other boxes were shipped to Elizabeth, Lindsey, Melody, and Tina since they live out of the state. 

Once everyone received theirs then we could announce it officially. 

Now who thinks that the number of groomsmen should be equal to the # of bridesmaids??

Proposal story (with video)

It was July 22 and my mom was in town. Terry had asked if he could take us to dinner and all I knew was to be ready at 7. 

When we arrived at The Landing I definitely thought this was proposal-y but would he really propose to me with my mom?? 

As we are walking up to the sushi restaurant, the spot of our first date, we talked to my mom about that memorable first night. Lots of talking, walking, and homeless people! It was fun to reminisce with my mom especially since the 2yr mark of that first date was only a week away. 

We sat down and begin looking through the menu and then as I looked up and saw several of our friends and family come out and stand around the table, I thought, 'AH It's Happening!!!" Tears started flowing and it was so incredibly sweet. Afterwards, we all had a celebratory dinner and were able to recount the planning all orchestrated by my sweet man. I couldn't ask for anything better.

And when I say "I" you know I mean "We."

Need to practice that. And saying fiancé.
Looking forward to having an easier last name to spell.
